Tatu Rytkönen:
Born: 1983, Iisalmi, FINLAND
Education: Designing Assistant
Career: Design Assistant Sandberg Ltd.
Hobbies: music, books, sports
Martial status: Dating and a proud owner of a
cat!
At the age of eleven, or twelve, unlike kids today,
Tatu had no musical taste at all: nothing interested him, until on a trip to
Sweden his mother said that she'd buy him a CD "just say what you like..."
she said and after a while of wondering he picked up a disc. His mother
replied "You'll never even going to listen that!" ... it
was The Best Of Beethoven.
When they returned home, he took his brother's CD
player and started to listen to the new album. When he heard the first part
of Beethoven's 6th Symphony, "Pastoral" , he knew what his kind of music
was. Ever since that day, music has been a major part of his life.
Tatu is self educated on every aspect of music
including composing. He enjoys guitar. His appreciations include Jean
Sibelius, Dimitri Shostakovitch and of course Beethoven and many more.
Return soon to hear a snip-it of Tatu's composition.

Savanity Davis:
Education: Senior, Mercyhurst College
Best Friend: Thomas Ruettiman
Savanity is a mezzo-soprano completing her senior year
of her Bachelor's degree in Music Education with a concentration in voice.
She grew up in Rochester, NY. Savanity has performed with the D'Angelo
School of Music, the Jazz Band and for a number of community organizations.
Savanity agreed to write a song for "In the Middle"
titled "Standing All Alone". She did in fact create a beautifully haunting
song and with the musical talents of Martin Bliley, were able to construct a
melody that Tatu Rytkönen has wound his magic around to create an emotional,
symphonic experience.
